About Kinga’s Designs

Hi, I’m Kinga – the creator behind Kinga’s Designs. My journey with jewellery and lampwork glass has taken me across the world, and I’m grateful every day that I get to do what I love.

I was born in Poland, and from the age of 21 I’ve lived and worked in many countries. Along the way, travelling and meeting people from all walks of life inspired me to follow my passion and develop Kinga’s Designs.

My jewellery journey began in 2005 in the United States, where an amazing artist I met inspired me to start creating pieces by hand. In 2007, in Germany, I had the privilege of learning the art of lampwork glass from a wonderful Italian teacher. When I moved to South Africa, the colours, nature, and energy of the place sparked even more creativity in my glass art.

Now, I’m based in New Zealand, where I continue to explore new ideas and share my passion of creating glass beads with others. Each piece I make is crafted with care, heart, and the stories of the places I’ve lived.

My jewellery and glass beads come straight from the heart and reflect my journey, my love for life, and the connections I’ve made along the way. I love to teach and share my personal journey in the world of glass beadmaking. I hope my work brings you as much joy as I feel creating it.
